Things are peaceful in Island Village until a strange, sick Shinx who calls himself Shaun is found in the woods by Buizel, one of the children of the village.
Suddenly, strange occurrences begin to happen around them. A strange red star, an ancient story of doom, and time slowing down and speeding up seemingly at random.
At the center of it all is Shaun and Buizel, as Shaun begins exhibiting odd powers and Buizel learns more about himself and his home than he ever thought he would.
Will they be able to band together with the rest of the island’s secretive inhabitants, or will the island be doomed to fall like those before it?
