some would call this a backstory

Once upon a time, there was a young man who decided to make an idle clicker game using a tool. By degrees, this lead to him joining a discord for the purpose of making these idle games, and following a certain game with very good pixel art. After a while, the person who made the game made a Minecraft SMP. This young man, who had no idea of the past history of this person's minecraft smps, cluelessly joined the server.

It was fine for the first few days, until Day 3.

It was really nice for the first few days, I built an elevator up a mountain, there was a little town established, and everything was going great.

and then rabbit appeared

fun fact! anyone named rabbit now has negative connotations for me now. more on that in a future post

This particular rabbit had a grudge with the server owner for some reason i guess, and witherbombed the server. Everyone was the big mad and rabbit did what angsty teenagers do best and mocked us all on discord. Truly a master of intelligent discussion.

After a little while, "Season 2" opened up. We were all wary this time, due to past experience, but we joined anyway. Some say that foreshadowing is fairly obvious and I do not beg to differ.

This one I actually kind of remember. We were all in a group away from spawn when the server owner reinvited rabbit again. Everyone knew it was a stupid idea, but the server owner was still optimistic at that point. There was a mod that allowed for getting stupidly OP gear, so everyone was grinding for that for the ineviteble clash with rabbit, and then I lost 90% of our stuff(i was the main grinder) in a wither explosion in an attempt to get the best gear in the mod. At that point I moved to the middle of nowhere because our base coords had been leaked, and the crack cocained PVPers were practically en route.

at that point, the SMP was over as far as I was concerned. The owner got ditched by his friends due to drama, and I left. One of my friends stayed on the server and reported that it sucked big time.

moral of the story? don't ever start an SMP unless you know what you're doing.

peace, lex
